Louise Williams provides exemplary and comprehensive college counseling services and is a leader in the industry. She has  earned the distinction of being a Certified Educational Planner, the highest level of credential in the college counseling arena. Likewise, she is a lifelong learner and is extraordinarily and diversely educated with a wide background in many areas. Most importantly, she makes every effort to get to know each student as a person and every family as a unit so that she can help them find the perfect college fit. Louise prides herself on her high ethical standards and attention to every detail.

Originally from North Carolina, Louise attended college and law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before moving to Colorado to practice law for over 20 years. She also earned a Master’s in Secondary Education with teacher licensure at Regis University when she embarked on a second career in the education sphere. Louise founded Gateways to College, LLC in 2009, and it has morphed and grown consistently since then.

Louise is known for her diverse experience and knowledge and her personal approach and specialized planning for all students and their families. Louise works tirelessly to focus on the goals of finding the best fit college for her clients from every perspective, and she participates in conferences, tours, and professional groups to uphold the highest standards of ethics and continual professional development. Louise is a Professional Member of independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and College Consultants of Colorado.
